The Hawaii Temple was closed for renovations, so we just wandered the grounds and took pictures. The beach is the start of the pipeline on the North Shore. The movie "Soul Surfer" about the young girl who lost her arm to a shark while surfing was being filmed. We couldn't get real close, but understood that Carrie Underwood is in the film. It was a fun day cruising around the island.

Loved, loved your phtos of Hawaii. Then of course, it is hard not to love Hawaii. Awesome photos of the whales--those are almost impossible photos to take! Thanks for sharing your fun vacation!
