Fall in the Country

We are having an incredible Fall this year. 3 weeks now of clear skies and temps in the high 70's. Looks like rain (fingers, toes, legs and arms all crossed) this afternoon. I just went to town, yeah, the big metropolis of Kiowa to pay the annual registration on my car, and decided to take a little drive to look at the colors. I drove south to Elbert, stopped into the convenience store for a little refreshment and then turned east on a dirt road.... many twists and winds later, I made it back to civilization, it was pretty, but dusty. The pictures are all from a recent walk with the dogs, hope you enjoy! Wish I could capture the way it sounds and the way it feels, it is like heaven!
