My mom is at my house this week and today we celebrated her birthday by doing some adventuring. We took the road south through Elbert, where we saw the investigation into a small plane crash, happened yesterday, so we'll watch the news to get the details. We circled around through Peyton and Calhan, both small towns drying up under the tough ecomonic environment and then headed North. Along the way we came upon these 2 churches less than a mile apart, complete with cemetaries across the road from each other.
